Haven't yet tested it for world-hopping with Seaworthy/Skyworthy, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work as long as you modify the proper file, belonging to the DLC where you want to go.Įdit: it works in other DLCs too, but if you've set it to Hamlet-compatible, you need to modify the "worldgen_a" file located within DLC0003. if you want to undo it, just restore your worldgen_a backup or put two hyphens before "SEED =". Start a new game of your chosen type, and ta-da! you'll spawn in your favorite world. delete the two hyphens, then change the number into what you got in step 2. best I can tell, the one in scripts is for base game/RoG, DLC0002 is Shipwrecked and DLC0003 is Hamlet, use the same one as you did with your original save.īackup your "worldgen_a", open it with an editor then find the sixth line, starting with "-SEED = 372000". Navigate to \data, and search for the file "worldgen_a". Open the console, copy/type in "print(GetWorld().ed)", it will return a number, write it down. Open the save with the world you want to reuse

Puzzled together from multiple sources, the method is as follows: Since I recently came across a bug on an old Hamlet save (no bats would spawn, even on day 20+) where I really liked the world, I went ahead and looked for a method for re-using the same world seed in a new game.
